Aloha!
More information on the 2004 Ag Conference is being added to this site regularly.  Please check back for updates and other new information. Thank you!

To mark the 20th anniversary of the Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaii (ALFH) in 2002, the Foundation joined with the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation (HFBF) and the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) to sponsor its first statewide conference for the agricultural community. The goal of the conference was to help participants build capacity and to consider new ways to enhance, expand, and market to increase their profitability.

Building on the two year’s successful collaboration, the sponsoring agencies have partnered once again, with the addition of the State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture this year, to create Hawaii’s only statewide conference for the agriculture industry. We are pleased to present Ag 2004, “Changing Times: Enhancing Your Assets.” The theme of this event places emphasis on creating value and profitability by enhancing the “bottom line.”

Purpose of the Conference Who should attend?

By sponsoring Ag Conference 2004, the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation, the Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawaii, State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture, and the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources have once again come together to provide a forum in which everyone with an interest in agriculture can meet, talk, and build relationships.

Our goal is to bring industry together for capacity building, to develop opportunities to be more successful in business, and to create an environment where people can exchange ideas.

The full-day event will bring together both national and local industry innovators and is especially designed for leaders with a vision for agriculture, innovators, entrepreneurs, farmers, ranchers, contractors, architects, nurserymen, their employees, golf course superintendents, and the professionals supporting the industry in universities, state and county governments, and non-profit organizations.
